The Isomac Amica espresso machine is the sister model to the well known Zaffiro model that has received great praise. Featuring all the same components, the Isomac Amica espresso machine differs only in appearance to the Zaffiro. The Isomac Amica espresso machine features a huge single boiler, a 1400 watt heater, and the extremely popular E61 lever action group. The boiler on the Isomac Amica espresso machine has two functions and these are to supply water for making espresso and to produce steam for frothing milk. The size of the boiler also helps to keep the water temperature the same producing the perfect cup of espresso every time. The Isomac Amica espresso machine is manufactured using heavy gauge polished stainless steel paneling and uses metal components throughout and the group head is made from solid brass with chrome plating. The Isomac Amica espresso machine is about 16 inches tall and weights around 40 pounds. The water tank capacity of this machine is 3 liters and can also be removed. Another excellent feature of the Isomac Amica espresso machine is low water level sensor which alerts you when the water level gets low. This model even features a removable drip tray, a hot water facility for making tea, and a cup warmer. The Isomac Amica is smaller and lighter than one would expect and is highly recommended for those who enjoy the true taste of espresso. This machine is attractive and the polished stainless steel makes it even a nice show piece for just about any kitchen. There are three pin switches all with red lamps below them which indicate power, pump on, and steam temperature. In conclusion, the Isomac Amica espresso machine is a joy to use and comes with a great instructions manual for those who are new to making espresso. For great tasting espresso the Isomac Amica espresso machine really is a great buy. | |
