This method uses an industrial strength cast iron drum which rotates to circulate the coffee beans. During this circulation, the beans closest to the outside get burnt while the beans near the center of the drum don't get roasted enough. Worse yet, this method inevitable breaks and crushes some the coffee beans contaminating every subsequent batch of coffee roasted in that drum. Fortunately for you, all of our gourmet coffees are roasted using hot air to circulate the coffee beans. This means that every single coffee bean gets roasted individually for an absolute perfectly even roast. That's something you will never see in supermarket quality coffees.
