Altura Superior is grown in the high mountain regions near the southern border of Mexico. (Altura actually means "high-grown".) Altura Superior is perhaps the best gourmet coffee to serve black because of its light and acidy taste in the cup. Altura Superior coffees are considered very high quality and among the finest grown in the Americas. As always, our Altura Superior is made from the finest gourmet coffee beans, grown in the famous regions of Chiapas and Oaxaca. It has a light nutty flavor, mild body and low to medium acidity.
